The Speech
I know the words by heart at this point. It’s the one that, for some reason, starts: “You know why I would never go out with you?”
That is a Hell of a way to start a conversation. I really thought I was done with that part of my life.

You know why I would go out with you? Cause you're sexy and cute (especially when you giggle) and funny and sweet (especially when you move stuff for me even though you don't want to) and I think you are the kind of guy who would treat his woman like a queen.
